Grab a piece of rotten fruit and put it in a bowl full of new fruit. In a short amount of time, it all rots. I believe most politicians start off with good intentions- but over time the rot of the swamp compromises the good. Money is a factor. Power is an ego trip. Then there are the scenarios where people are blackmailed after one bad night out. (They are set up, old military tactic) We need new blood. Honest people who can’t be purchased. This has happened with our media too.
