@keithrbennett Seems like in a sane program you should define an initial x, maybe `x = 0` or evening `x = nil` for clarity and then later reassign with an if modifier, `x = 7 if thing_is_true`. I can’t recall any code I’ve seen relying on this quirk/bug (thankfully)
