We are saying no to a data centre in Île-des-Chênes because there are big threats to the environment and not much benefit to the economy.
Our message to any tech company out there… if you want to build technology with a thoughtful, human-centred approach that puts humanity first, then Manitoba is open for business. 🦬
@ronmortgageguy And I recall to economic advisor to the @liberal_party at the time, @MarkJCarney also said that interest rates would remain really low and that Canadians could feel
Confident borrowing.
We Are Seeing Some Houses Lose 50% Of Their Value Since 2022: How Did It Go So WRONG?
- Because these same houses INCREASED in value 50% to 70% between 2020 & 2022

37 years ago today, the Chinese government brutally crushed peaceful protesters in and around Tiananmen Square who were demanding an end to corruption, freedom of speech, and democratic reform. The massacre revealed a truth the world should never forget: the Chinese Communist Party will do whatever it takes to preserve its grip on power. If it did not value the lives of its own citizens, why would it value the lives of others?
This is what grocery shopping looks like in Canada right now.
Three packs of chicken breasts — but only because they were 30% off.
One pack of butter.
Four ears of corn.
$52.
He says he only buys meat when it’s 30% off or better… because that’s the only way he can afford to put protein on the table.
This isn’t normal.
This is what happens when you hammer farmers with carbon taxes, jack up transportation costs, and run the economy into the ground for over a decade.
Under Harper you could buy chicken without needing a clearance sticker.
Under Carney, even basic groceries require hunting for discounts just to survive.
They broke the country and then told us it’s fine.
Drop a 🍗 if you’re done pretending this is acceptable.
For 37 years, over 2,000 images taken by a Chinese state media photographer were hidden in a metal box, surviving brutal purges—until now.
These raw, powerful photos show the courage of the students, the scale of the protests, and the horror of what the Chinese Communist Party did.
Now, The @EpochTimes is making the photos public for the first time. [1/2]
Canada Is Now In A Technical Recession 2 Quarters Of Declining GDP: But Many Canadian Have Experienced A Recession For The Last 3 Years

On June 4, the world marks 37 years since the Chinese Communist Party ordered its troops to attack thousands of peaceful demonstrators in and around Tiananmen Square. Those who sacrificed to uphold their unalienable rights of free expression and peaceful assembly will be vindicated someday.
I'm so sick and tired of the theft, the lies, the failures, and the squandering of our tax dollars. Mr. Economist @MarkJCarney can you not do any better than this shit? This is fucking deplorable.
