@POAnatchair @garryweston1 Latest update, contacted capita told employed hadn’t submitted a form from 8 months ago so can’t process pension claim, then received email saying they were processed claim, so no idea what the hell us going on, only 3 mths into partial retirement!! Can’t make this shit up!!!

@POAnatchair @garryweston1 Last email I got was 4 months ago saying I’ll be updated weekly on what’s happening, 3 months into partial retirement and 7 months after applying I still have no idea when or what I’ll be getting for a pension. Absolute joke!!!

Well day 1 of being partially retired from hmpps, not at work so it’s a good day, no idea when I’ll get my figures for pension but just being part time is a joy!!!

@John_Podmore We have to many coming from probation who have no concept of what the job entails and telling staff with 20yrs in how to do the job and bringing in their own agenda.

@BrummyBoy13 @AWilsonmhealth Joined at 36, after 10 yrs as a retained firefighter and 18yrs in multiple factory jobs, gained experience as a team leader and leading hand firefighter, set a minimum age to join of 25 and NO ONE straight from collage/uni. That would be a start.

Well that’s the partial retirement paperwork sent and confirmed with a date of 1st May. Not holding my breath it’ll be sorted by then but it’s a start to get out of HMPPS!!
