CFP #2: They lost to Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship game, 34-7. We can justify a 2-spot drop.

CFP #1: Bama lost to Georgia, 28-0 in the SEC Championship game. Do we drop them 2 spots?

CFP #2: Are you crazy? They lost to #3 Georgia.

CFP #1: BYU lost to #4 TT.

CFP #2: Bama beat Georgia on their own turf earlier this year, 24-21.

CFP #1: But that was back in September. How much weight do we give that?

CFP #2: Every game matters.

CFP #1: Bama lost to currently unranked, 5-7, Florida State.

CFP #2: That was the 1st week of the season. A lot has changed since then.

CFP #1: Notre Dame's loss to Miami was the 1st week of the season; should that also be... minimized?

CFP #2: Of course not. Head-to-head.

CFP #1: This logic seems... inconsistent.

CFP #2: If we drop Bama two spots, then they're out. We want more SEC. But, if we drop BYU two spots, we can get ND and Miami next to each other and justify swapping their positions because of the head-to-head from week one. ACC gets a team, SEC gets another team, everyone wins.

CFP #1: This won't end well.
