@DirtyTesLa @elonmusk @Teslaconomics 11.4+ can already run on HW4 cars, right? There are a few YT videos of early HW4 cars running FSD Beta. I think the reason why most HW4 cars don't have it yet is because they came from the factory with versions higher than 2023.7.X (which up until now were all stuck on 11.3.6).

If it's really 11.4.4, that might mean those of us on 11.4.x could finally be getting the base branch upgrade, and those on new branches w/11.3.x might finally get 11.4.4.

@PhinneusJ @greentheonly @wholemars I see a few possible financial incentives: 1. Folks willing to pay big $ for the retrofit; 2. To settle the class action if HW3 doesn't achieve full autonomy as promised but HW4 does; 3. HW3's lower safety creates liability for Tesla whenever a driverless HW3 car kills someone.

@caaastDOTlive @Tesla @elonmusk @StudioMDHR Due to chip shortage, new Teslas have no data in the console USB ports (only power). @tesla thinks no one's smart enough to plug a mini USB hub into the glovebox, so they exclude the joystick games. Yet BBR2 allows 2-player mode which requires at least 1 joystick. It's so stupid.
