@shotgunkev @SJW_writer@BookDevon@SmithGerge Awww... Thanks both.
Sorry I haven't been around much recently. Twitter has gone a bit odd (#DevonBookHour excluded, obviously) so I've been avoiding it.
I've also been snowed under in editing work.
@EmpoweredAuthor Thanks very much. I've got space for anyone looking for editing/proofreading in the new year.
And if you're in a rush, due to the notorious whooshing sound of deadlines flying past that authors love so much, I can usually find a gap somewhere.
Happy Monday all! Anyone looking for an eagle-eyed proofreader or experienced editor? Today we’re shining a light on the lovely @daveholwill who is listed, among many other freelance editors, on our Services for Authors site.

@AbigailYardimci@lhallwriter@aitchisonwrites@SuzyKQuinn @DebbieYoungBN @IsabellaMayBks @LeonieMAuthor @Chrissie_author @TARosewood@ElizabethDucie Thanks Abi, I don't post here as much as I used to because (well you know)
I had planned a big campaign for spooky season at the start of last month as I didn't have much on, so obviously I got swamped in Editing work as soon as I started making videos.
Will post more, promise.
Maya, who wants to legislate trans people out of public life, doesn’t think trans people should be able to have free speech to voice their concerns and protest.
@james_kafka Yeah. I've been reading The Complete Witcher since my 1st bout of Covid back in February '22 and taking long breaks between each book.
It did not make me appreciate Book 7, which was frustrating right up until the end with its new characters and weird stuff so late in the day.
@james_kafka I've just finished book 7. and yeah. I agree.
It suffers from tangents and unneeded extra characters
(I call it Wheel of Time syndrome)
