Ain't no love in the heart of the city, metaphor for you weak minded out there, either you make your own lane or ride the wave of destruction life has lined up for you.
you suffer more from neglecting what you need in yourself, than what other people are not giving you. the first step to healing is finding the places you still bleed from. the second most important step— is not becoming a monster to your own pain. you did not deserve that.
pain becomes a mask. you give up your freedom in neglect. and the longer a wound goes untreated, the faster you begin to fall apart. the moment you believe you’re unworthy, underserving or not enough. you begin settle for anything that can make you feel alive. this is a pit fall.
