We sold our Veguita homestead and moved to our new remote land to focus full time on building our dream home(s). This container is one of three structures we’re currently working on. I’ve always wanted to build a container home and we found a deal on this used 40 foot high cube so we went for it. After years of life in tiny spaces, it’s nice to have a little room to play in.

This patch of desert is filled with stray dogs dropped off by backyard breeders. Usually you’ll find them in packs but Lorie found this little girl wandering alone. So now we have a new member of our own pack. We call her Bella and she’s fallen right in with the boys.
