@thevannzee NIU looks serious and has a talented Friday senior. They have enough to be a tough 3/4. But to your greater point, tournaments in one-bid leagues (baseball, basketball, etc) are counterproductive. Kent had a stronger bubble case last Saturday than it does tonight.
@BallparkHunter Without getting a hotel for the night? Probably Rochester.
Longest out-and-back for a game (under 36 hours)? Flying to Phoenix or Sacramento.
@HansFiene My pastor growing up had an open door baptism policy. If you brought a child by the office and were willing to confess the Apostle’s Creed, he would baptize the child and send you on your merry way.
@GageEHC In a different time, I'd think Ingle is destined for 1B or RF, but there are too many other options already in the pipeline. It wouldn't be the first time they've passed on a bat-first catcher with a questionable glove.
@fitzonsportsbsr@B_Funk_ Bo is a textbook warning case against promoting catchers before the glove is ready. His glove has cost the team more games/runs than his bat. Bailey is a upgrade with the glove, and near neutral with the bat...though he probably won't run into as many HRs as Bo over a season.
@ZackMeisel@JeffPassan I was starting to wonder if Bo down/Kody Huff up might be the next move. I guess not anymore, though that's definitely the vibe behind this trade.
