• Is it unreasonable to think absolutism is dangerous?

• Is it weak to respect opinions you don’t share?

• Is it naïve to believe in the power of AND instead of or?

• Is it absurd to think reform is necessary AND to disagree with the way certain actions are carried out?

• Is it unrealistic to believe that police, military, intelligence, and federal agents face unimaginably tense situations AND that, at times, deadly force is used inappropriately?

• Is it inconsistent to align with most of one political party’s ideals AND still challenge certain actions taken in its name?

• Does refusing to see every event through a rigid red-or-blue lens make someone weak?

Maybe strength isn’t certainty at all costs.
Maybe it’s the ability to hold two truths at once.
Maybe progress lives in AND.
