Yesterday’s stabbings at a gender studies class at the University of Waterloo are horrifying and unacceptable. This type of violence must always be condemned. Our thoughts are with the professor and two students who were injured.
Mark your calendar parents; we are having a virtual assembly all about social media and internet safety along with our @ssswrdsb friends. @wrdsb@StAndrewsSPS

The theme for Black History Month is February and Forever: Celebrating Black History today & every day. Although today is the start of Black History Month, it should not start & stop in the month of Feb. Students should see themselves reflected in the curriculum all year long.
January 21 is Lincoln Alexander Day. He was a pioneer in the fight for racial equity in Canada. He was the first Black Member of Parliament in the House of Commons, the first Black federal Minister & the first Black Chair of the Worker’s Compensation Board of Ontario. @wrdsb
Hey Sabres!
Day one of virtual learning is in the books. We know it’s not easy or ideal, but we are here to help in any way we can. Reach out to your teachers, guidance or VP if there’s anything we can do to help. We are here and you’re not alone ❤️

The rivalry is strong today here at @ssswrdsb - who will emerge victorious on Saturday. Stay tuned to see if @mrlinnerth is wearing a Michigan State jersey on Monday. #goblue#gogreen 🏈
