The real conspiracy is satanic and it’s goal is to get you to focus on “global meta whatever’s” that you can do almost nothing about and neglect the place of prayer, the word, and sacrificial love of neighbor.
"Every human being has a great, yet often unknown gift: to care, to be compassionate, to become present to the other, to listen, to hear and receive...If that gift would be set free and made available, miracles could take place."
~ Henri Nouwen
@JonTyson@Apple Had the same experience recently. I was surprised that a company that helped develop cash transfers took so long to fix an overcharge on their end.
“It’s not just a matter of...coming to the end of the road. We find rest because we are found; we make it home because someone comes to get us.” - @james_ka_smith, *On the Road with Saint Augustine*
I strongly dislike conversations about Christian calling because they rarely address privilege.
My abuela loved Jesus & like everyone else, sought to live a meaningful life—however, she didn’t have the luxury to discern a “calling.”
For many, their calling is simply to survive.
