What does this mean?
Permit me to explain this to you at no cost.

I wish to convey a stern caution to the distinguished service chiefs and military commanders of Nigeria's armed forces that those who authorise the use of lethal force against peaceful civilian protesters will be held responsible for committing crimes against humanity, even in the years following their retirement from service. The constitutional right to engage in protest is firmly established within our supreme law and reinforced by the judiciary. It is the solemn duty of the government and security agencies to ensure a safe and protected environment for individuals exercising their right to peaceful protest. -AA
Northern Protesters Carrying Russian Flags - Are Northern Political Elite In “Cold-W@r” With Tinubu?
…
It first happened two days ago, on Saturday. Youths in Kano protested, bearing the Russian flag. Pictures circulated but nearly everyone took it to be an expression of exuberance by the unthinking protesting teenagers.
Of course, very observant few knew it wasn’t a fluke - it wasn’t just the ignorant kids throwing tantrums. It’s far more than just how it looked.
These are new, neatly-sewn, big foreign flags. How did the protesting youths and teenagers get the flags? They certainly do not have the money to buy flags - not when they’re protesting against acute hunger and starvation.
64 protesters were arrested and arraigned before different Magistrates in Katsina State today.
Our team of pro bono lawyers under the auspices of LAWYERS FOR RULE OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS led by MM Lawal, Esq. and DD Sani, Esq. represented the protesters in Katsina.
30 of the protesters have been granted bail and most of the 30 have already regained their freedom. We’re still perfecting bail for the remaining.
The other set of 34 protesters have been remanded in the Correctional Centre because they were charged with offences that are only bailable at the High Court.
Our team is taking steps to apply for their bail at the High Court.
We will continue to do all that we can to offer representation to protesters across the country.
History will vindicate the just.
You can use tribalism to grab power and run with it, but you cannot use tribalism to govern well. Tribalism will not change the terrible economic situation of Nigeria, it’ll not reduce inflation, it’ll not end hunger and insecurity.
My Response to the President's Address - Obi
Having led the call for the President to address the nation and respond to the demands of the people, and having listened to the belated speech, I needed to delay my response to see if my understanding of the address was aligned with
President Tinubu’s speech is just a pack of empty words and a time wasting load of irrelevancies.
It is a confirmation of my long held view, that we are dealing with a fatalistic political class that is intentionally deaf and willfully blind to the sufferings and yearnings of Nigerians.
This President is disconnected from the reality of the everyday Nigerian. He’s living in an imaginary Nigeria that only exist in his head. The speech couldn’t have been more meaningless and aimless.
Those who wrote it, and Mr. Tinubu who read it out, have succeeded in justifying the reasons for the nationwide protest.
It is appalling that despite what we have witnessed across the country in the last three days, the President did not deem it necessary to speak to the specific demands of the protesters.
A government is only useful if it serves the interest of the governed. This government is anti-people.
Tinubu made no mention of electoral reform, no reversal of his horrible and devastating economic policies, he made no attempt to cut down the over bloated size of his government.
Tinubu made no concessions.
This President only did what despots do; ignore the agitations of the masses.
Great leaders make sacrifices for their country, but terrible leaders like Tinubu only know how to sacrifice the country for their interest.
It is not his voice that people wanted to hear, people wanted him to speak directly to their demands. His call for dialogue is in bad faith. He did not address the mindless killing of protesters by security agencies in any meaningful way. He also did not set up any credible machinery for a purposeful dialogue.
Tinubu is preoccupied with the ridiculous idea that the protest is being sponsored by his political adversaries. This provocative arrogance by Nigerian politicians will be ended one day by Nigerians, one way or the other.
I feel for Peter Obi and all of us who are his supporters
I went the length and breadth of Ladipo market yesterday, July 12, 2022; inquiring from a section of Lagos I considered as extremely OBIdient, to ascertain if they have their PVCs
The disrespect and hate on the IGBO community should not be encouraged nor tolerated by any geographical region or zone. As Nigerians, we should embrace to live in love, peace, unity and harmony. I urge the federal government to arrest those behind the #IgboMustGo trend on X.
