Okay, so let's get this straight - in the next generation or two, we won't be able to live on half of the landmass because it's too hot. We can't live in cities on or near coasts because they will be getting swallowed up under 10 metres of sea level rise. We can't live on flood plains or near rivers because what just happened in Spain will be happening every few years. Oh, and now we will not able to live in the mountains, and then the hills, because the plankton are all dying and there's less oxygen.

Don't you get the feeling that the ecological niche is getting a bit crowded. But don't worry, drill baby drill and we'll be great again.
