WE DID IT!!! 1 million subscribers!! 🚀
5 years, 2000+ videos, 650+ episodes, 200 million+ plays and 20 million+ hours watched. Absolutely wild.
I started this podcast in my old company office in Newcastle. It was recorded on living room couches and kitchen tables using a £80 Blue Yeti and an iPhone. Now we make some of the most visually stunning, cinematic productions in the history of YouTube with entire teams of elite creatives from all over the world.
I've had the fortune of turning the idols who shaped my growth into friends and now I get to live out an absolute dream speaking to the greatest thinkers on the planet. Whatever version of the simulation this is where I get to call this a job, I'm glad I live in this one.
Thank you so, so much to everyone who has supported me, tuned in, commented and told friends that they need to check my content out. The only reason this show has grown is because people like you have shared it with people like you.
A small admission - we had a gorgeous recap & tribute video planned for hitting 1M - this phenomenal, emotional edit of the entire last 5 years... and then subscribers went so vertical over the last 2 weeks that our projected completion date got smashed to bits. Whoops. Full video will be coming soon!
In the meantime, thank you so much for tuning in, I love you all.
I'll see you in your AirPods.

A man of great strength and grace. As talented a musician as he was an actor. The epitome of class. An sudden unexpected sharp painful grief for our artistic family. An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Godspeed my friend. You made your mark here. RIP
Only a month ago Sir David came to visit the first big outdoor event I’ve organised in two years, in #leighonsea, and has supported shared causes for a long time. Thinking of his family, friends and colleagues right now.
RIP Shirley Williams, 90.
A great politician & wonderful character. We did Question Time several times together & she was everything I hoped she would be.. smart, warm, funny, challenging, impressive & tremendous fun at the post-show dinner.
The vast majority of young people have been incredibly diligent during the pandemic. They’ve sacrificed a year of what should be the time of their lives so that the elderly and vulnerable have a chance to live an extra year or more of their lives. We should thank them.
The real "morning routine" nobody tells you about:
1. Eat a reasonable dinner, no caffeine or alcohol
2. Stop looking at screens around 9PM
3. Get into bed by 10PM
4. Relax, meditate, do some light reading
5. Wake up early feeling fucking great and ready to go
I cannot believe @GOVUK won’t allow golf courses to re open sooner than 29th March when you can sit next to someone on a park bench from the 8th. Golf gives zero to no contact with anyone throughout. Golf could be a huge release for so many people mentally as well physically! 🏌️♂️
I’m a proud ambassador for @YMCAEng_Wales & @ymcaessex.
Last week Sir David took an urgent meeting with me ahead of the #SpendingReview, I asked what is happening with the Youth Investment Fund announced in 2019. Today he took my question directly to the Chancellor.
