Councils are spending our money having summits about Global warming. Apparently it causes flooding amongst other things.
When water can't escape it backs up.
When councils don't clean gullies,
Water backs up ...
What was a weekly/monthly job is now ANNUAL or by request.
In most county councils.
It's all about priorities.
They've got this wrong!

@juneslater17 Exactly how do heads of councils earn 300k pa but communal areas, drainage ditches and grids left like that. We used to see the grid drain cleaning lorry at least once a month down our road.
