But looking at the history, the water is about 1 foot higher than 100y ago. That’s about half from sea level rise, and half from the island sinking.
Next 100y estimate: +5 feet.

The government stole from everyone in the system. It’s super hard to know how to undo that damage, because everyone was hurt.
