Couldn’t agree more @paulcullystuff , it’s the most subjective and unsafe part of the modern game. I played under some law variations in the NPC 2016 which I thought got the balance a lot better
Four north vs south series deciders in #testmatchrugby coming up this weekend…the most successful concept in rugby is the lions tour….remind me again why the powers that be think a word league is a good idea again!? @WorldRugby
Mixed emotions on this one 🤔 Good for overall competitiveness but personally I’d like to see a longer stand down period and a cap on the number of tests played for the first country.
The World Rugby Council has approved an amendment to the regulation 8 that will now permit an international player to transfer once from one union to another subject to demonstrating a close and credible link to that union via birth right.

Have the top 8 nations ever been this close? 3 or 4 behind them not far off either. Game is healthy overall just need to get the officiating consistent and refs less influential on results
Is anyone else just a little bit excited about @rugbyworldcup 2023 after this weekend of Rugby. Some big shots fired by Sth Hem teams but absorbed and Nth come up trumps. Slade, Du Pont and Beale at their best. Wayne Barnes clearly best ref at the moment. #AutumnNationsSeries
@geerob Exactly. People also forgetting that this year was extraordinary circumstances. We also had QC and SK for many weeks outside the release windows.
Two things. 1. Boks should have closed that out but great test match 2. Maybe Argentina shouldn’t have also worn their dark blue alternative strip tonight?
@BMcSport@Subbiesbattler@IBloodyLuvRugby Yep. Take games to smaller/regional venues. Short term contracts/match payments for additional players required to fill wallaby gaps. 🔑 is make it something the provinces respect & want to win so they don’t rest everyone or let them have NZ/Jap sabbaticals
Expand the RC ASAP. Maybe two tiers held concurrently with promo/relegation. Enforcing Reg9 for full strength squads is crucial. Inevitable that SA will leave eventually, north/south calendar unsustainable for them
It's been a long time coming, but the Pacific Islands will finally have a presence in #SuperRugby - but what about international rugby? #SuperRugbyPacific

@kinson88 Taken out of context I reckon. If you read/listen to the full interview he’s actually saying after Saturday for the guys in the wallabies that have now played the all blacks for the first time “maybe the aura has worn off a bit”
