So the wife made these great new models for the end of level battles in WARCHASM. And I’ve the last couple of weeks putting together some animation worthy of them.
WARCHASM is available now on the Meta Quest store and on Steam VR.

@Angaisb_@BerwaldJoshua@Matan_Vilensky Feel free to share a video showing your process. So us luddites can appreciate all the hard work you put in and see all the creative decision you make along the way.
Okay. So let’s just focus on that second part. You’re using a technology that only exists due the stunningly unethical behaviour of massive companies exploiting the working class.
Do you believe those same companies are going to fix this behaviour?
Do you see those being exploited ever being compensated?
Do you believe this is right?
@VRCatalans@Heaney555 We’re in Barcelona. We put the AC on last night for the first time this year and with good reason. We’d get zero development work done without it. HMD’s are just not built for this weather.
Me and my beautiful, super talented wife at a Halloween party around 12 years ago. And again 2 years ago when we finally tied the knot. Today is our wedding anniversary and after more than a decade together I honestly couldn’t be happier.
@VistaLargaGames@Enkhar101 It’s interesting how many VR heads are also into the retro gaming thing. When I’m not posting development videos I make this little retro videos here and there…
@VistaLargaGames@Enkhar101 I grabbed your game. Honestly I have no idea when I’ll get round to playing as the backlog is real and the work life balance is non existent right now. But I’ll try to give it a whirl at some point and leave you a review.
@VistaLargaGames@Enkhar101 Do you score your own games as well then? Being a musician? Making the a WARCHASM soundtrack was one of my absolute favourite parts of the development process.
@VistaLargaGames Yeah, she only started helping with the game dev thing fairly recently but turns out she’s an amazing artist. She’s @Enkhar101 if you want to give her a follow.
@purplemikey@ParadiseDecay Agreed, I’ve honestly not seen any reason to move over to UE5 as a VR developer. Let alone UE6. That said, with all the negative feedback around performance in UE5, UE6 potentially dropping with a load of optimisation tools could well be great for VR.
@sean_gause What’s the performance hit like nowadays? I was using POM in a VR prototype a fair few years back and the overheads were just too high to be useful at the time.
