🚨#BREAKING: Watch as Newly released video shows the moments surrounding an ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Department of Homeland Security says the woman was shot after attempting to run over officers during an operation.
NEW: last night, the US govt launched an assault on the ‘global censorship industrial complex’, aka European tech researchers/campaigners.
It’s a deeply chilling move & speaks as to why we need international solidarity more than ever.
Trump is coming after our BBC. He’s suing it for $10 billion, and the Conservatives and Reform are cheering him on.
The BBC must not pay Trump a penny. Instead of rolling over, it should sue Trump back for the lies he’s telling about it.
🚨The Petition calling for a public inquiry into Russian influence on UK politics & democracy has now rocketed past 65,000 signatures! Let’s get it to 70,000 tonight. If a petition is what it’s going to take let’s get this done!

🚨WOW! An ABC Reporter just CLOBBERED Trump And the Saudi Crown Prince with TWO of the best questions.
Please name this journalist so we can all nominate her for the Pulitzer Prize!
Reporter: These are new emails that are being released by the House Oversight Committee. There are 3 emails that mention Donald Trump specifically. In this email, Jeffrey Epstein is writing this message to Ghislaine Maxwell. He says, 'I want you to realize that that dog that hasn't barked is Trump, and that [redacted] spent hours at my house with him.'
Ok, @realDonaldTrump, if you sue the BBC for $1bn for spreading lies, I’ll sue you for the same amount. I reckon Planet Earth would crowdfund that. Then I’ll buy Mar A Largo, turn it into a climate change research centre, free Melania, and put a 1000% tariff on orange face paint.
The real weakness of the BBC, as exemplified by recent events, is its failure to stand up to ludicrous claims from the right that it is somehow hugely biased to the left. Listening to Telegraph journalists bleat about a biased BBC, or Reform MPs enjoying more platforming than any minority party in history, underlines that. This is the work of right wing journalists and owners working hand in glove with right wing forces inside the BBC to undermine it. The Labour government needs to help the BBC stand up for itself and clear out those forces that want the BBC to fail.
It’s easy to see why Trump wants to destroy the world’s number one news source. We can’t let him.
The BBC belongs to all of us here in the UK.
The Prime Minister and leaders from across the political spectrum should be united in telling Trump to keep his hands off it.
