The “stationary within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage” exception in the second sentence of subsection b excuses leaping over the the frame of a blocker described in the previous sentence. It does not excuse stepping/landing on a player as outlawed in subsection a.
@PenguinOfTroy that USC would pass them up. I think most people who follow the committee would say they’d side with UGA. But interested to hear your side! We all look at it differently, I suppose. Maybe I’m totally wrong.
@PenguinOfTroy never had a 1-loss non-champ get in over a 1-loss champ, but we’ve never had a situation like UGA vs USC. This years 12-1 UGA would be IMO EXTREMELY unlikely to fall behind USC. At the very least it’s debatable, but I don’t see how someone can say with a high degree of certainty
@gwforde @cfbpac12 @davidlfloyd4@wilnerhotline It’s not the religion, it’s the views: for example, that homosexuality is a sin and gays should not have the right to marry. That view has been very harmful to gay people so many Pac-12 schools don’t want to be associated with that discrimination.
