The project is really about building a parallel nation inside the current one. Money and food are just the tools; the real goal is power, legitimacy, and self-determination — without firing a shot. That's why governments around the world are often more nervous when freedom movements like IPOB run farm projects than when they protest, make your research. Protests are loud for a day, but farms create a new economy for a generation. When a freedom movement engages in farming, it sends a powerful message to the state, because it restores the people's identity and dignity. It reconnects people to the land, culture, and self-reliance. It's a rejection of dependency and the "𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆" .Any form of sabotage against this idea must be matched with heavy consequences Biafrans are fortunate. Today, you hear that exact call in Lagos comedy clubs, European football stadiums, political rallies in Abuja, and Nigerian hip-hop tracks. People who do not speak a word of Igbo use it to hype up a room. It looks like simple energy. But underneath that sound is an ancient piece of political engineering. SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: I PERSONALLY WITHDREW FROM NNAMDI KANU’S LEGAL REPRESENTATION IN DECEMBER 2023 NO ROOM FOR MISCHIEF: THE FACTS CONCERNING MY LEGAL MANDATE FROM IPOB For the avoidance of doubt, and for the sake of clarity, I wish to state unequivocally that I personally disengaged myself from the legal representation of Nnamdi Kanu in any capacity since December 2023, long before his eventual conviction and the subsequent sentence to life imprisonment. In the exercise of our professional rights and responsibilities as legal practitioners, we have, throughout the relevant period, remained in effective and continuous retainership as solicitors to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). In that capacity, we have diligently and professionally discharged our responsibilities, securing the discharge and acquittal, upon the conclusion of full trials, of over 200 alleged members of IPOB across the Federal High Court in Abuja, High Court of Ebonyi State and Abia State High Court respectively, between December 2023 and the year 2025. These are not matters founded on hearsay or conjecture. The records are matters of public knowledge and are readily verifiable. For the avoidance of doubt, Nnamdi Kanu never independently appointed us as attorneys to the IPOB. His limited involvement in our appointment was solely in his capacity as his personal lawyer, from which we had, since December 2023, formally disengaged our services. Furthermore, and for the avoidance of any further doubt, therefore, I reiterate that from December 2023 to date, I have not represented Nnamdi Kanu in any capacity whatsoever, whether as his private counsel, family lawyer, or otherwise. Any attempt to suggest the contrary is, at best, a deliberate distortion of the facts and, at worst, a calculated narrative designed to serve ulterior and mischievous purposes. It is equally important to place on record that IPOB, as an organisation, has today reaffirmed our standing as its solicitors and legal representatives. That professional relationship is founded upon a continuing mandate and cannot be retrospectively altered, invalidated, or otherwise dictated by its former leaders. It is important to state, at this juncture, that the Nigerian Correctional Service Act is clear as to the manner in which any communication purportedly emanating from a convict or an inmate may be duly authenticated or validated. Any communication purportedly emanating from an inmate, whether a convicted prisoner or a person awaiting trial, must bear the imprimatur and appropriate authentication of the officer in charge of the relevant correctional centre. This requirement is intended to ensure the authenticity, integrity, and proper verification of such communication. This clarification is particularly important and should serve as a cautionary reminder to practitioners who are often quick to rush to report what are clearly unauthorised communications purportedly emanating from inmates, without first appreciating or verifying the applicable legal and administrative procedures governing such communications. Let the facts, therefore, speak for themselves. Let the records speak for themselves. NO ROOM FOR MISCHIEF: THE FACTS CONCERNING MY LEGAL MANDATE FROM IPOB

For the avoidance of doubt, and for the sake of clarity, I wish to state unequivocally that I personally disengaged myself from the legal representation of Nnamdi Kanu in any capacity since December 2023, long before his eventual conviction and the subsequent sentence to life imprisonment.

In the exercise of our professional rights and responsibilities as legal practitioners, we have, throughout the relevant period, remained in effective and continuous retainership as solicitors to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). In that capacity, we have diligently and professionally discharged our responsibilities, securing the discharge and acquittal, upon the conclusion of full trials, of over 200 alleged members of IPOB across the Federal High Court in Abuja, High Court of Ebonyi State and Abia State High Court respectively, between December 2023 and the year 2025.

These are not matters founded on hearsay or conjecture. The records are matters of public knowledge and are readily verifiable.

For the avoidance of doubt, Nnamdi Kanu never independently appointed us as attorneys to the IPOB. His limited involvement in our appointment was solely in his capacity as his personal lawyer, from which we had, since December 2023, formally disengaged our services. Furthermore, and for the avoidance of any further doubt, therefore, I reiterate that from December 2023 to date, I have not represented Nnamdi Kanu in any capacity whatsoever, whether as his private counsel, family lawyer, or otherwise. Any attempt to suggest the contrary is, at best, a deliberate distortion of the facts and, at worst, a calculated narrative designed to serve ulterior and mischievous purposes.

It is equally important to place on record that IPOB, as an organisation, has today reaffirmed our standing as its solicitors and legal representatives. That professional relationship is founded upon a continuing mandate and cannot be retrospectively altered, invalidated, or otherwise dictated by its former leaders.

It is important to state, at this juncture, that the Nigerian Correctional Service Act is clear as to the manner in which any communication purportedly emanating from a convict or an inmate may be duly authenticated or validated. Any communication purportedly emanating from an inmate, whether a convicted prisoner or a person awaiting trial, must bear the imprimatur and appropriate authentication of the officer in charge of the relevant correctional centre. This requirement is intended to ensure the authenticity, integrity, and proper verification of such communication.

This clarification is particularly important and should serve as a cautionary reminder to practitioners who are often quick to rush to report what are clearly unauthorised communications purportedly emanating from inmates, without first appreciating or verifying the applicable legal and administrative procedures governing such communications.

Let the facts, therefore, speak for themselves. Let the records speak for themselves. And let those who are genuinely interested in the truth consult the records rather than manufacture narratives for purposes best known to them.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang's apology to Ndi Igbo for Plateau’s role in the Nigerian-Biafran War, is a significant and unusual public acknowledgement. He said Plateau people were “deceived” into fighting and now regret their involvement. I believe other neighbors were also deceived. Recognising the immense contributions of Igbo residents to Plateau State’s economic development and promising fairness in addressing properties acquired after the war is also a fair start - but it is a known fact that Igbos contribute immensely to every state's economic development in Nigeria. His acknowledgement matters because it challenges the long-standing culture of silence surrounding the Civil War. Nigeria cannot genuinely heal from a history it continually refuses to confront. By acknowledging that ordinary communities may have been manipulated into fighting one another, the governor’s statement opens an important door to truth-telling, national reflection and a deeper examination of the political forces that turned neighbours against one another. The reference to confiscated or disputed properties is especially important – ‘’the abandoned property’’ is an unforgettable loss that must be addressed to relieve the pain it bears. Reconciliation cannot be built on words alone. It must include restitution, compensation and the restoration of legitimate rights wherever injustice can still be repaired. This acknowledgement also creates an opportunity for other governments, institutions and communities to examine their own actions during and after the war. If handled honestly, this moment could encourage a broader national conversation about memory, responsibility, accountability and justice. This is the sort of Movement Ohanaeze Ndigbo should champion! But the statement must also be examined critically. The governor did not clearly identify who deceived the Plateau people, what falsehoods were used, or what Plateau’s specific role in the war involved. The phrase “we were deceived” open the door to truth, but it can also soften responsibility if it is not followed by a fuller and more honest historical account. Who deceived the Plateau people? What stories were they told? What role did political and military interests play? What became of the homes, businesses and properties taken from Igbo families during and after the war? These are questions that must not be buried beneath the apology. The political context also matters. The apology was delivered during a meeting in which Igbo leaders endorsed Governor Mutfwang for a second term in 2027. That does not automatically invalidate the apology, but it means its sincerity must be judged by what follows: a transparent property-review process, documented compensation, the preservation of historical truth and the lasting protection of Igbo residents and their legitimate rights. In my conscious opinion, the apology is historically meaningful, but it must become more than a ceremonial statement made close to an election. It should mark the beginning of a serious process of truth, accountability and material justice. Again, this is the sort of project Ohanaeze Ndigbo should champion. Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s apology is significant, not because words can undo the suffering of the Nigerian–Biafran War, but because healing begins when silence is broken and truth is acknowledged. However, reconciliation cannot end with the phrase, “We were deceived.” An apology becomes meaningful only when it is followed by truth, restitution and justice. We cannot continue asking wounded people to “move forward” while refusing to confront what wounded them. You acknowledge the people who were wounded and repair what can still be repaired. What stories were they told?
What role did political and military interests play?

@ChinasaNworu @MaziNnamdiKanu C. Because the IPOB M-BRANCH is a complete ghost office, if known they would still be hated by this supposed IPOB members (infiltrators and Saboteurs). Likewise if ESN was a complete ghost, infiltrators wouldn't have attacked them.
