So I came 2nd… I wonder if this attempt helped MY victory over the LDs?
I look forward to hearing from all those LDs who were very quick to attack my campaign…
A deeply disreputable bar chart being distributed by @CambridgeLDs in Castle ward (left), comparing votes for two candidates in last year's election against votes for one. The actual result of the election, which had two vacancies, is shown on the right. https://t.co/3mhRiuh0lB
GCP backers push an #orchard vs. #woods narrative, pitting communities against each other—divide and conquer. But Madingley Road isn’t moving. Adding an inbound bus lane, as CPPF suggests, would nudge traffic over, likely helping the SSSI, not harming it. Meanwhile, GCP’s £200m concrete busway to Grange Road will carve up @MadingleyHill #farms and destroy Coton Orchard. Don’t be fooled. On 1 May 2025, vote to #SaveCotonOrchard, save taxpayers £ms, give commuters a real choice, and actually protect the #environment 🌳🍎🦊🚌❌ 🗳️✊🏻🤨 ✏️ https://t.co/nndXkpvNyR

Unfortunately you can’t vote for Labour* or LibDem* - when will the people of Cambridge WAKE UP, put Party politics behind them and vote LOCALLY to what’s best for Cambridgeshire?
*this is the second time these two partys have voted to destroy Coton Orchard 😡
@david4castle@CotonView@paulbristow79 We’re not voting for anyone who said YES to wrecking our countryside, bulldozing farms, and trashing our heritage. We hope Cambridgeshire stands up for what matters too 🌳🚌❌🗳️✊🏻🤨
@ClareFKing@ElizabethMcWill What’s the point - she’ll be told to vote to destroy it.
What I’m hearing is a lot of Lab/LibDems are trying to avoid the subject, must be so embarrassing for them having to “support” this nonsense on the door step
@CotonView@BonkersBusway The only way to ensure this, and all the other crazy GCP schemes, are cancelled is to vote Tory and in particular @paulbristow79 for major.

Well done Edinburgh - £50m to be raised from ‘tourist tax’
Isn’t this the same amount the Lab/LibDem alliance wanted to fleece car drives for via the CON Tax?
Just imagine what could be done with £50m per year…

@markrwilliamson@camcitco No strawberry fair, no big weekend and now no folk festival - great news for the all local businesses that benefit from these attractions being in 1,000s of people into the City 😡
@CastleMound@SandieBlickem Er… 🤔 Congestion Charge… 58% against 34% For.
Wait until they close Eddington - where do you think all that traffic is headed? 🤔
