It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former Bell Labs scientist, Arthur Ashkin, at the age of 98.
Arthur was a brilliant scientist, winning the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2018 for his optical tweezers.
You will be greatly missed, Art.
I've been a fan of @ptrrupprecht's blog for some years, and I was very flattered when he asked to interview me for the blog. We had a super nice chat a few weeks ago. Thanks, Peter. If anything I said is incorrect and/or questionable, please do let me know.
We are very glad to share our latest preprint on “High-Resolution, Large Field-of-View, and Multi-View Single Objective Light-Sheet Microscopy” where we push the current limits of single-objective light-sheet microscopy.
