@footballtweet In my view people are free to choose who and to what level of fandom. Uber fans insist you aren't a fan unless you go to all games. Huge respect to that level of passion and devotion, however armchair fans are still part of the fanbase. Doesn't mean their willies are any smaller
@cricket_badger Totally agree, felt the need to clarify as most people don't either remember or associate him with pace. Just couldn't be a team of favourite players without him.
@cricket_badger In the absence of a viable alternative, think it's a good appointment. I would have tried to wait out for Pep if that was ever possible, leaving Carsley in situ until he was. I don't see the likes of Potter, Howe etc.etc as being world class international managers unfortunately.
@FabrizioRomano He is a world class football player, but not a world class defender with very weak defensive positional awareness. Against weaker teams his qualities shine through and free kick was unbelievable. Just have to accept cover down his flank will always be needed.
@FabrizioRomano Very humble and classy statement, but that instantly rules out some of the 'names in the frame' like Graham Potter, Eddie Howe etc.etc.. I would leave Carsley in situ until Pep is available.
@bobbydugnutt111 To be fair, I think having to wait for the Hundred to finish before Iran could release their salvo has only caused more angst and pent up frustration. Crisp packets have literally brought on the onset of WW3....
@MarinaPurkiss Was always taught that two wrongs don't make a right. Whether left or right, all politicians will seize any opportunity for freebies or perks. It just looks rather churlish to try and pretend one is worse than the other. All their sh1t stinks I'm afraid.
@timfarron It's the expenses system that is so wrong. The politicians 'follow' the rules, that are beyond f*cked up and elitist. In any corporate environment people utilise expense rules to the extreme. They could of course propose or amend them, but no-one wants to slaughter that cash cow.
@sportbible Hilarious the hard ons for him. His ability on the ball and quality of delivery is world class. However , he is absolutely horseshit at defending. Finland and Ireland are perfect for him because they are even worse at attacking as his defensive frailties.
