@MatrixMysteries "Price discrimination explains everything." It isn't evil, it is only the market working as it does. The mere presence of this thing "insurance" really just signals to the seller that the buyer - inadvertently, yes - has a much, much higher willingness to pay.
“George Orwell once wrote - Women are always an inevitably on the side of the State”
“This isn’t progress, its dependency with a new face - Both Men & Women are suffering”
“Incels and childless liberal Women are two sides of the same coin”
Fantastic monologue - explains a lot.
@RichardSomatics@zerohedge So then it is indeed the crypto bugs and scammers who've already made out, already taking dollars from those fooled into thinking cryptos were more than zero. They'll go back up again I imagine when people still don't get the memo.
@RichardSomatics@zerohedge All cryptos are just computer numbers effectively worth zero. The only "value" is in the eyes of those who say to everyone they have value. As a medium of exchange their user bases are not nearly large enough for them to be viable. Any drop is just more gravitation toward zero.
@darwintojesus Except that the postmodernist wants us all to accept what they say as the overarching objective truth. It collapses on itself logically. Either there is some objective truth, which itself invalidates the postmodernist's claim, or there isn't, which makes what they say nonsense.
@zerohedge Cryptos are just computer numbers that loud scam-er-um-investors want you to pretend have some kind of value. Really, it's the same with shiny yellow rocks. Back & forth they go... Oh, & yeah, too, it's true, Congress & the Fed make sure it happens with the dollar. Ouch
@conservmillen "Against Empathy" was written seven years ago & echoes much of what Mrs. Stuckey shares. And this is from a secular NYT-favored Yale scholar. His emphasis is on doing the right thing because it is rational, not because we have an emotional knee-jerk response.
@WallStreetApes Has nothing to do with it. Previous ruling party printed massive gobs of dollars to hand to their millions of do-nothing sycophants so they could virtue-signal out of their rear ends. Present ruling party really just keeping the racketeering going. We're all now paying for it.
@darwintojesus It is not nearly as much about the leprosy & physical healing, but by doing that Jesus was telling them - & all of us right now - that He is God & offers deliverance out of what will be ultimate bodily death by forgiving us & holding our souls into eternity. Luke 5:17-26, 13:1-5
@WallStreetApes Everyone price discriminates. This includes workers wanting to find out who is willing to pay the highest price for their labor. It isn't a bad thing. With such advanced IT the holy grail of perfect PD gets closer: knowing every single individual's willingness to pay.
@NancyRPearcey It's simple. Get some wicked private equity firms to successfully arrange some kind of purchase of the whole thing. Short of that get some viciously industrious entrepreneurs to build their own right across the street of these things. Otherwise just moaning about it does squat.
@ClayTravis Once again, NIL, the Portal, & all that are just foolish adults in power telling children lethally wrong things. This is what college has become anyway, it is tragic. Go back to: Attend 1 school for 4 years, respect having it paid for, play hard, & appreciate it. The end.
@iluminatibot No, sorry, when we did what Adam & Eve did & disrespected "honest weights & measures," - each one of us likely did that before coffee this morning - was the moment. Yes, the Fed & banks do it, massively, but the gold bugs & crypto bugs all do it too. Can't serve both God & Mammon
Two New York City restaurants, exact same food items, exact same prices. Except... the first is from 1892 & the prices are in cents. The second is from today, 2025, priced in dollars. Apologies to Milton Friedman, but inflation is always and everywhere a POLITICAL phenomenon.
