Mind-boggling advice from NICE - to use injections of sterile water for pain relief for labouring women.

One of the studies cited seriously has sterile water as its active arm &, er, salty water as placebo😳 (ref below).

In our supposedly cradle-to-grave NHS, only 25% of hospice care for children & only 33% for adults is government funded.

Imagine maternity, paediatric or ICU beds having to rely on car boot sales & charity fun runs.

@10DowningStreet And yet NHS doctors are horrendously overworked, seriously underpaid and very much undervalued by this government. It’s absolutely appalling.

You may also want to spend more time and money specifically on our GP’s. They are breaking!!!
