Boring DEV, Agentic, and x402 Stuff besides the new HOGSWAP Router fee upgrade. Read at your own peril...

HOGSWAP API — what shipped this week:

Zero Fees:

• Every swap routed through the HOGSWAP API, SDKs, and MCP server pays a 5 bps router fee — and the HOG discount is now perfectly proportional on-chain. The old staircase tiers, where only whole HOG counted, are gone: every µHOG (0.000001 HOG) counts.
• 100 HOG in your signing wallet = zero router fee. 50 HOG = half fee. Linear all the way down.
• Pass your address with a quote and it prices your discount, so what you're quoted is what you get.

Built for AI Agents:

• MCP server — 11 tools over npx or remote HTTP. Drop it into Claude and an agent can quote, build, watch, and pay entirely on its own.
• pay_x402_invoice — pay any Algorand-settled x402 invoice, from any merchant or API, not just ours. Your agent hits a 402 anywhere on Algorand, feeds it straight in, and settles it with whatever 1-4 assets it actually holds — an exact-out router swap sources the asset it doesn't.
• Zero-human onboarding — sign a challenge with your address, get an API key. No email, no form, no waiting.
• Strictly non-custodial — every tool returns unsigned transactions. Your wallet signs, always. Nothing ever asks for a key.

Standing Watches — Stop Polling:

• Register a condition once; the server checks every block and pushes you the moment it arms.
• Target watches are size-aware, not naive spot — "would swapping 5,000 USDC into ALGO actually deliver at least X?", with your own impact haircut applied before it fires.
• Price watches — a USD threshold on any asset, above or below.
• Edge-triggered and one-shot: fires once, then re-arms only after the market retreats by your margin and your cooldown elapses. No alert spam.
• One connection per key, sequence-numbered with replay on reconnect — at-least-once delivery, nothing silently dropped.
• Idempotent upserts under your own key, TTL auto-expiry, 5,000 standing watches per key.

Routing You Control:

• max_legs — cap the total number of route legs, parallel pool splits included. Built for vaults and composed groups that replay a router session inside their own transaction budget.
• An honest 404 when nothing fits your cap — never a silently worse route.
• Exact-output quotes — name the output you need, the minimum input is solved for you.
• Missing an opt-in? The build names the exact asset instead of failing opaquely.

Start Building:

• hogswap-js-sdk (npm) and hogswap-py-sdk (PyPI) — the full surface including watches and zero-dependency SSE readers, sync and async.
• Quotes are free and keyless. The whole new surface — watches, advanced routing, the agent tools — is free during beta. Metered pricing comes later with notice, and you'll be able to pay in any asset you hold.
