I believe in the power from within. I am a proud Veteran, Dad, Uncle, Son, and Husband. Change starts from within, and we are the results of our thoughts.
@maziehirono If you don't realize that it takes 60 votes to pass a bill by now, you shouldn't be a sitting Senator. This applies to both sides of the aisle, regardless of party preference.
I've said it once, and I'll repeat it: there is no place in society for violence like today. It's not about Democrat/Republican or whatever party you support; it's about human life and decency. My thoughts and prayers are with Charlie Kirk and his family.
@legitbrittFLA@GavinNewsom You are being generous.
Gavin, do you notice that one of these things is not like the other? And no, it’s not the “greedy oil companies,” it’s policy that drives up the prices.
@CAgovernor@realDonaldTrump When you have cashless bail, a lack of crime reporting, and prosecutors not enforcing laws, this is what you get - a skewed statistic. I believe that even you can see through that. That's why the average independent voter made a mandate last November.
@GovKathyHochul This is why the average person has become an independent voter. The rising costs happened Post-Covid. The tariffs havent even begun to create price impact to the https://t.co/zuAZLrQW4q should have thought about this four years ago.
@SpeakerPelosi Can you please share with everyone what are these tax breaks for billionaires? You should be careful what you wish for considering you’re pretty close to being a billionaire yourself.
@MayorOfLA The office of the Mayor of Los Angeles does not have the authority to declare the city independent of the Federal Government. Article VI of the US Constitution stipulates that states or cities cannot pass laws or executive orders that contradict or undermine federal law.
@MayorOfLA@CAgovernor Unfortunately, this was needed 20 years ago when productions started leaving California for places like Louisiana, Georgia, and Michigan. You need to fix the real problems and stop blaming others. No one wants to run a production with looters and rioters.
@SpeakerPelosi Incorrect. The President (regardless of party affiliation) can act and respond to threats. The problem is that you believe Congress is the executive branch.
Karen, you have “peaceful protestors” claiming they are at war with your police department. These problems will only worsen if you can't look them straight in the eye. This is why people like me who love the City of Los Angeles have left it behind. Politics becomes a driving force, and the people who pay for it are the citizens.
The founding fathers were smart enough to recognize the difference between those protesting King George and criminals leveraging an opportunity to victimize a population. Don't you notice that every time you call these peaceful protests, somehow violence occurs? By the time you respond, it's too late.
@MayorOfLA Stop pointing fingers and start taking responsibility. It's interesting how two disasters happened on your watch. Los Angeles deserves better.
@MayorOfLA True leadership begins by taking control immediately and not allowing a situation like this to spiral out of control. Instead, you are playing to a dangerous narrative.
