Switzerland comes closer than any nation to Lincoln’s ideal of government of the people, by the people, for the people. Four times a year its citizens are called to the polls—not to weigh parties or personalities, but to decide directly the questions that govern their lives. #swissreferendum
Regarding the recent Anthropic Fable export control news. Do we actually have frontier AI companies in Europe that have the potential to actually become truly competitive in the future?
Thinking beyond just @MistralAI, the newer wave of companies working on things like world models. With the current scaling-driven paradigm it sadly already feels too late. But there will always be a next wave

• EU (ENISA) only now, 2 months later (still WIP)
• Most allied govts not in yet (Switzerland confirmed interested; Norway/Canada/Australia/Japan/etc. unclear)
