We had a great time sharing Vauquois VR at #NCSS18. We had five learning centers and a great turnout of teachers and researchers! The session focused on our work at Vauquois but we shared the interactive orthophoto from @DigHill80 too. @VTLibraries@DigHill80 @ICATatVT
Thanks to @AdamFriedmanWFU and @PhDEnder for a great session- with the Base Chicago. You created a space to challenge us to stop being self referential and recognize people who are doing real on the ground work - #lesstalkmoreaction#cufa2018
Our VR project, "If this Place Could Talk: The Destroyed Village of Vauquois" is @MSUMuseum through November 11th, 2018, as part of the "War and Speech: Propaganda, Patriotism and Dissent in the Great War" exhibit! If you're in the area, check it out!

@SimonVerdegem walked the @DigHill80 site with our @virginia_tech Visualizing History team, explaining what each of the major points of interest can tell us about what happened here. Here is one of a series of upcoming 360 videos of that tour.
