@josusanmartin@Bybit_Official in general, the # of profitable “strategies” floating around on this app is directly correlated to the # that focus in depth on the risk management aspect of the trade. so, close to 0
@TheFlowHorse vol makes the puts much too rich & therefore unattractive. sell calls or outright short the stock paired w/long $COIN or BTC
the current mcap juxtaposition is bringing $COIN top of mind for everyone so simply long $COIN for those worried about getting their face ripped off
@BigBuckHunterrr the fact that there is more than a shred of doubt as to how to handle this situation from a company that is building a sports betting "exchange"-like platform is very troublesome

@Gugabed @mr_peanutbettor do you think the NYSE reverts trades when MM’s place bad quotes? no - the MM takes the PnL loss & improves their systems. no reason why sports betting exchanges should operate any differently
in no way shape or form should the exchange be the arbiter of what is a “valid” quote
@Gugabed @mr_peanutbettor agreed that MMs need incentives to provide liq to any venue (esp new)
but the incentive can’t be “if you place a bad quote don’t worry we’ll just revert the trade” as that undermines the entire point of a sports betting “exchange” cc: the enraged comments from the original tweet

@mr_peanutbettor it’s pretty simple - the exchange(s) that offer the most markets, have the deepest liquidity & honor the fills that occur on their platform will win
@PhilMickelson@TrevorImmelman Here’s a hot take
hot takes on sports from someone who has lost over 9 figures wagering on sports are probably meaningless
@IainMacBets congrats on your manufactured clv on a tiny prop market created by the sheep you led to slaughter. doesn’t change the fact that your original statement was objectively false & a bad reason to bet that number
@quantian1 “quite literally guaranteed to make money” truly spoken like someone who has never warehoused risk before. i forgot you have endless amounts of capital for when $MSTR melts face to the upside & your short position is growing in multiples
flaming this kid when he’s on the right track and then proposing the most mid iq pair trade circulating w/massive blowup potential. the irony is palpable
@drumm_colin@CeccCoal I told him the best play in crypto was to short MSTR and buy BTC futures (1256 contracts!) and he did not seem to appreciate how good this advice was. Truly youth is wasted on the young.
would you rather make money or be right?
these holier than thou “quant” accounts are a 100% hit rate for not being able to separate their egos from trading
the most opportunity in the world for small traders currently is on chain trading shitcoins whether you like it or not
@choffstein abstract is built by luca & team as well, pudgy eco will receive another airdrop on launch. distribution breakdown unknown at this point but given how the market is valuing L1s atm wouldn’t be surprised to see mid 5 figs or higher
