BREAKING: Two passenger trains have collided near Bedford, England, about an hour north of London, leaving multiple people seriously injured.

One passenger told the BBC the impact felt like a "bomb explosion" as emergency crews rushed to the scene.

Live images show a massive response with firefighters, paramedics, and police surrounding the crash site.
