This study shows the opposite of what people think. 700M users doing basic summarization and Q&A means AI adoption is wide but dangerously shallow. We're celebrating a global autocomplete engine. The "destroy every assumption" framing is cope. Real disruption starts when usage shifts from convenience to decision-making, and that number is probably closer to 0.1% of users. The revolution hasn't started yet.
This is why the retrieval layer matters more than the model. Most teams throw embeddings at everything and wonder why their agents hallucinate at scale. The real unlock is structured context — when your AI can work against clean, organized data (spreadsheets, databases, pipelines) instead of drowning in unstructured noise, semantic collapse stops being an issue. Fix the data layer first, agents second.
@Koukoumidis The next unlock is letting domain experts shape AI outputs directly inside the tools they already live in (spreadsheets, dashboards, pipelines) instead of building separate ML stacks. Excited to see how Oumi handles that handoff from model → workflow.
@kimmonismus The real unlock isn't one monolithic platform.
It's AI that meets you where your data already lives. That's what @QuadraticHQ is building.
@boulderpolice Sorry the officer was injured, hopefully they make quick recovery.
Please keep posting these bond stories, otherwise no on in the community knows. No one else reports on this
this past weekend, @stephensilber and i built a multiplayer fishing game that runs in your terminal.
it hooks into your coding agents so you can hang out while they work.
