Our career connections team recently partnered with the FCCLA students at Miami East HS to create a career exploration experience for students. Over 150 students participated in hands-on activities in 4 industry sectors: business, technology, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Big thanks to Scott Bloom from Piqua City Schools & his portable planetarium! 🪐 CLC students explored solar eclipses, ice ages, volcanoes, dinosaurs, and more-all while touring our solar system! 🚀 What an amazing hands-on learning experience! #STEM#CLCExplorers
We want students to know there are cool places to work in Miami County! The Career Connections team coordinated a tour for students from Tippecanoe High School. The students learned about robotic welding and manufacturing at Tipp City business, OTC Daihen.

Mrs. Smith's class did a peppermint science experiment yesterday and then made peppermint hot chocolate to enjoy with a Hot Cocoa cookie. The class gave it 2 thumbs up! :)
On Saturday, Santa took time out from his busy schedule to visit the Miami County ESC staff and family. The children were able to fill up on timbits and juice while coloring pictures and writing their Christimas list to give to Santa.
