One thing is clear as day. The electricity crisis at @CityPowerJhb in Joburg is FAR worse under Dada Morero’s @MYANC then it EVER was under the @Our_DA. FORTY EIGHT HOURS in Illovo with no power, and no real updates. NOW people, you know who to vote for in municipal elections.

The constant (and I mean CONSTANT) water outages in Illovo is a DIRECT result of the inability, and incompetence of @JHBWater to actually deal with problems when they arise. It's left until the last moment and they are now in crisis. As usual, the taxpayer suffers. USELESS!

Alexandra SDC Outage update

There is a power outage at Sebenza, which is affecting Alexandra Substation, Gresswold Substation, and Cydna substation.

Our operators have been notified and dispatched to investigate the cause of the outage.

Affected areas

Highlands North, Orange Grove, Rouxville, Raedene, Cheltondale, Orchards, The Gardens, Rouxville, Kew, Gresswold, Bramley, Maryvale, Bagleyston, Savoy, Illovo,Winston Ridge, and Elton hill.

Affected customers will be updated as and when new information becomes available.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and ask customers to be patient with us. ^MR

Once AGAIN the useless @CityPowerJhb has allowed Illovo to be without power. I swear, the only explanation is that when they DO eventually get to repairing faults (we are often told we're not a priority)... It is clear they buy the replacement parts off Temu 🙄
