I missed you today. Wandering through the aisles of a store, I turned instinctively to share a thought with you, but the space beside me was empty. That small ache followed me as I kept moving.

Later, in the quiet of a changing room, I caught the sound of the door closing behind me. I turned, ready to protest, but then I saw a hood fall back, and there you were. A flash of blonde hair, a knowing smile and suddenly the air shifted, as though the ordinary world had slipped away.

You came toward me, and everything else dissolved. The lights seemed softer, the silence deeper. Each touch, each breath felt suspended in time, like we were caught in a dream we had both stepped into without speaking.

The closeness between us grew until I could no longer tell where I ended and you began. It was fire and gentleness all at once, a rhythm that carried me to the edge of myself. And just when I thought I might awaken, you held me there a little longer, as if the moment itself refused to let go.

Then, just as suddenly, you were gone. I opened my eyes to an empty room, still trembling with the memory of you, still unsure if you had truly been there… or if my longing had conjured you out of thin air.

@onicablu Agreed House of Dragon never quite gets there but a Knight of Seven Kingdoms was amazing. It started slow and drab like HoD but by the 3rd episode had fully pulled me in. Some of the best depth of characters even the secondary characters. Excited for 2nd season.
