@FiloSottile I think "agility bad" (my choice) is too simple, because it's neither good nor bad. But it needs to justify the complexity it adds, which in the case of SSL/TLS it does not, IMHO. I could easily be convinced it was good in scenarios where the heterogeneity is critical for users.
