@CaybayLavy@Cheetowunga I don’t know the specifics of the case, but moving across the country for a job is the textbook example of promissory estoppel taught in law school. Sounds like this might have been for a convention which would obviously limit damages.
@CaybayLavy@Cheetowunga The legal term you’re looking for is called promissory estoppel. Consideration just means something of value has to be exchanged for a contract to be considered valid.

@Thecurlymolloy Ran into this a few weeks ago. Here's what worked for me: Advil/ibuprofen, and the #1 thing was an ice pack. Made a world of difference. I also used a numbing paste from the shop and brushed but I felt like that made almost no difference.
