@MalcolmRenoldz@ScottPresler Not only that, but I suspect many registered dems will vote Republican. I forgot to change my affiliation but I'll be voting for red.
@mjcanom@analyticat@RealLidiasDolls@DonaldJTrumpJr That is not true. In most states if someone breaks into your home you have the right to defend yourself up to and including killing them, you don't need a reasonable fear for your life since they are in your home. It's called castle doctrine.
@ectoven @analyticat@RealLidiasDolls@mjcanom@DonaldJTrumpJr You don't think you have the right to defend your life if someone breaks into your home? In England you can be arrested and charged for harming a home intruder.
@taabusana@DonaldJTrumpJr You missed the point here. I think it's that they don't care if you get a sketchy back alley abortion, but they rather someone not get a sketchy back alley gun.
@mjcanom@DonaldJTrumpJr Wow yeah that's not true at all. The dangerous parts of the US are the parts with gun control, the safe parts are the ones with minimal control.
@joodge64@aimezcreer@iowahawkblog@michaelmalice I know why they claim to do that, but with how much it costs for each class I just can't see a justification. If it was a couple hundred dollars for a class that would be one thing, but when it's thousands a semester it's ridiculous to require social studies courses.
@joodge64@aimezcreer@iowahawkblog@michaelmalice There is also the point that they do I can't remember the term but a forced sale by only allowing you access to one product by purchasing another in the form of required classes that are unrelated.
@jcaron5@iowahawkblog@Peter_ORyan99 The college can assist in that. I went to a school that didn't get paid until I got a job. So they gave me interview assistance, training, and connected me with positions. They happily have about 30k of my money and I'm very happy with the deal I got.
@MrBelvederePhan@iowahawkblog Most jobs that say you need a degree don't actually stick to that. I'm currently in a job that required a degree and yet I have no college and they were fully aware when they hired me.
@autistic_campus@iowahawkblog Income share agreements are something that have gained a lot of popularity in the programming world. Essentially they teach you for free, and you agree to pay them a certain percentage of your income for a set time. So the better you do the more they make.
@CatholicLad@iowahawkblog No it would be like returning them because once you got home you discovered that the stitching was subpar and it disintegrated the first time you washed it.
