@bryan_johnson@JEOxendine The smart, curious people are out here, paying attention. We’re just not creating drama.
Don’t listen to the noise; listen to the silence.
Having said that… GO BRYAN AND KATE!!!🥳🎉💥😄
It’s lovely. You’ll find that large, older wooden furniture is pretty easy to acquire for free or inexpensive, because we all tend to inherent our parent’s stuff and then later in life, might choose something else and need to rehome the older things. Freecycle and FB Marketplace can show you all sorts of things right near you. Freecycle you can ask for specific things too, like if you want a desk. People are happy to give things away, because it’s harder and more expensive to take them to the dump! And as you’ve noticed, we’re not allowed to just burn stuff here, lol.
Hey. Keep your mission clear and focused. I get that you feel the same way most of us do about the incursion of Islam. But you are a poster boy right now for SAfugee immigration. Please keep that in mind. Keep your feed clean if you want to help this cause. The mess’s and confusion of getting into the anti-Muslim stuff will weaken your brand and open you to attack.
Stay on message, friend.
Also, if you get over here and work on the books for 10 years, you’ll be eligible for social security benefits. Medicare coverage kicks in at 64 I believe. As you get older, the talking/rep/sales side will be pleasant and relatively easy. We have lots of seniors in the tasting rooms here. It’s considered a desirable retirement job.
YES! With farming and luxury products background you would be a great fit for the wine industry! And there’s wine in almost every state! CA, NY, OR, VA and TX all have large wine regions. The wine biz on the sales side as a rep is always looking for mature, presentable, polished people and it can be very international. More urban-focused for density of wine shops and restaurants .On the hospitality/entertainment side, wineries out in the countryside are all about customer experience and pouring/selling/chattingabout wine/helping at events. And they’re ALWAYS looking for competent farm types because the machinery and equipment is not “field hand” level. A combo of pouring/selling, and helping in the cellar and press pad would make you very valuable.
In fact, SA potential refugees should DEFINITELY look at our wine industry. It would be a GREAT fit.
@bryan_johnson No such thing as too far when you’re on the final frontier. Everything you and Kate do are data points of value. We very much appreciate your dedication.
@gayleviv Be aware that almost all new soft furnishings/mattresses release some chemical fumes the first couple days to a week, so let in plenty of fresh air, and let out the old maybe once a day or so, even if it means dumping cold air from the a/c.
@Favwontmiss Also thought a moment and decided on yellow before I read the comments. Daffodil yellow, also breezy and cool like spring. I wonder why so many of us say yellow?
@viking_boer@RiaWalt23574 Excuse me, but those are AI images. Why are you posting AI images of a dinner? This means that you are not what you claim to be. Explain.
