LEGEND
Together with @CWSOmaha, we're counting down the days to the 2026 Men's College World Series by highlighting the Top 30 Moments in MCWS history.
For today's moment, we take you back to 2022, when @OleMissBSB's 8-9-1 hitters launched back-to-back-to-back HRs in the finals against Oklahoma.
For the first time since 1998, a team hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the Men's College World Series. Ole Miss' TJ McCants, Calvin Harris, and Justin Bench went deep in consecutive at-bats in the 8th inning in Game 1 of the MCWS finals, turning a 4-2 Ole Miss lead into an 8-2 cushion.
Ole Miss would go on to win Game 1, 10-3, and Game 2, 4-2, clinching the 2022 National Championship.
Check back in daily for a new Top MCWS Moment! #RoadToOmaha @sec_d1baseball

Just a guy who shows up every day & goes to work.
NEW: Trinidad Chambliss tells @Clowfb he considered LSU with Lane Kiffin but stayed locked in with Ole Miss🔒
“I mean, there were discussions. There were thoughts. I’m not going to lie about that because you have to understand what my circumstance was. I had just transferred here. My offensive coordinator was Coach Weis. I had just learned that system. He was leaving, and they were taking most of the offensive guys. I didn’t know who was going to be our head coach at the time. I didn’t know who was going to be the OC. There were just a lot of unknowns and question marks. So, yes, those thoughts were there, but once we went with PG (Golding), it didn’t take me too long to decide. I was all Ole Miss.”

As I sit here tonight sulking about how tonight ended, I can’t help but think about @austnsimmons.
In a huge moment of sadness, for the entire fanbase, I sat in my seat and watched Austin sit at the end of the tunnel and high five/hug every single guy who walked off the field, knowing it’d obviously be the last time they shared the field together.
Austin handled this past year with such grace. Beginning the year as a starter, getting injured, and ultimately, losing his job to Trinidad.
I’m not going to lie, watching Austin hit the portal and commit to @MizzouFootball, put me in my feels. But he did it with SUCH class and dignity, and vowed to be by our side through it all. Maybe I’m doing too much here, but I don’t care. Just wanted to share this moment with whoever comes across it and hope that it gets back to Austin and Mizzou FB. We love him, like, a lot lol. Take
care of him, @MizzouFootball. We’ll always be in your corner, @austnsimmons!!
“It’s a very unique group on both sides of the ball that play for each other and enjoy playing. It’s been pretty cool to be apart of.”
Pete Golding spoke highly of his team’s character on Saturday, adding that some of the Rebels top players are the group’s best leaders:
