In November, it's the US Presidential election. Donald Trump wants to be the Republican Presidential nominee. Here's 7 mins on Trump and America's democracy. Produced by Mary Fuller and Michael Cox. https://t.co/Ib1Pvk7grk
Our @BBCPanorama Trouble At The Post Office in August 20I5 had a Fujitsu whistleblower who said Horizon computer generated errors. This was the first time outsiders knew for a fact the Post Office was lying. So it is unfair to criticise @Keir_Starmer and @EdwardJDavey who were out of the picture in August 2015. By then the Conservatives were in charge.
And they gave Paula Vennels a gong.
From a man who sat as an MP for a decade, widely regarded as one of the "good guys".
Politicians are literally telling us what goes on, and we still vote believing in change. 🤷🏽♂️
So good!
Dom Jolly doing a better job than most journalists.
The IEA etc are funded by the super rich to persuade us to vote in such a way that means rich people can just do what they want - pay less tax (finding public services) & stop regulation (that protects us & the planet)
'The implication of asking about where our funding comes from is that you think that I'm doing someone else's bidding.'
'That's exactly what I'm saying.'
Comedian @domjoly interrogates Institute of Economic Affairs' @matthewlesh over the funding of his think tank.

With the Tories' climate credentials in disarray, it seems like a good moment to recall this iconic frontpage of the Times from 33 years ago...
"Margaret Thatcher called yesterday for a 'giant international effort' to save the Earth from the consequences of global warming"
Those damned climate protestors walking slowly, causing havoc and delays in Rhodes this afternoon.
Oh, wait- sorry it’s the climate causing the havoc.
Mass holiday evacuations have now begun. Perhaps we should build more wind farms or something.

Under a Binface government, anyone who doesn’t accept human-made climate change as fact will be sent back to school, from Year 1 right the way to A Levels, to see if anything goes in the second time round. #VoteBinface
A few personal notes:
I was just at a NASA team meeting for 3 days in DC. The scientific findings are so fucked up. Experts on tropical rainforests told me privately that they think the Amazon has already passed its tipping point. Let that sink in. The world needs to know
