CZ, founder of Binance and the 20th richest person in the world
Made his first million at 39 and started Binance at 40.
Today he’s 48.
You’re never too old to start.
You’re not losing because you’re stupid.
You’re not unprofitable because your strategy doesn’t work.
You’re bleeding because your mindset is under financial pressure.
Every trader wins.
Every trader loses.
But there’s one thing that separates the consistently profitable from the consistently frustrated:
Mindset:- in context.
And this is the part nobody wants to talk about.
The “let it hit TP or SL” mindset ➟sounds strong.
➟Disciplined.
➟Professional.
But when you’re already struggling financially…
When trading is your only hope…
When rent, bills, and survival are staring at you…
That same mindset becomes emotional warfare.
Your strategy works in backtesting.
It looks clean on paper.
The setups are valid.
But the moment real money is involved…
Your heart rate changes.
Your breathing shifts.
You start calculating what that profit could fix in your life.
And suddenly, you’re not trading probabilities anymore.
You’re trading desperation.
That’s where self-sabotage begins.
Here’s something most people won’t admit:
Many traders who now preach “all or nothing, "TP or SL” built that mindset after they had capital.
After they had emotional stability. After they had already scaled.
At that level, floating profits going back to zero doesn’t shake them.
But at Level 0 or Level 1?
When you’re under pressure?
Watching a 2R floating profit reverse to full SL doesn’t just hurt your account.
➱It attacks your confidence.
➱Your belief in your edge.
➱Your identity as a trader.
And after a few cycles of that…
you begin to doubt everything.
Not because your system is broken.
But because your foundation is stressed.
So if you know your edge…
If you journal..
If you understand risk management and R:R…
But you keep sabotaging yourself in live markets
This is for you.
Pause the all-or-nothing model.
Not because you’re weak.
Because you’re rebuilding.
Here’s a softer but structured approach:
• Target trades no more than 3R.
• Give your stop loss room beyond the previous candle wick.... respect structure.
When price moves 1R in your favor:
Move your SL to break-even.
Yes, break-even has drawbacks.
Yes, you might get wicked out.
But right now, your goal isn’t maximizing profits.
It’s protecting your psychology.
You need to teach your nervous system that a winning idea will not turn into trauma.
When price reaches 2R:
Take 50% off.
Let the rest run to TP.
If you’re completely broke and rebuilding stability, partial profits will calm your mind.
If you’re regaining trust in your execution, you can move to B.E. at 1R and let the position run fully.
Both paths are valid.
The key is this:
You are trying to reduce emotional damage while building consistency.
Also:
Limit yourself to 3 trades per day, maximum.
Overtrading is usually emotional revenge disguised as opportunity.
And most importantly,
Build strength outside trading.
➣Go to the gym.
➣Pray.
➣Journal.
➣Disconnect from charts.
➣Develop mental endurance.
Because trading is not a technical game.
It’s an emotional endurance test disguised as charts.
If you’ve been doubting yourself…
If you’ve invested thousands of hours…
If you feel like you’re close but something keeps breaking at execution.
I see you.
You’re not alone.
And you’re probably not far from breakthrough.
You just need your psychology to catch up with your skill.
If this resonated deeply, share it.
Someone out there is one bad emotional trade away from quitting
To keep trying is to have motion.
No matter how good it gets, you wake up and try to do better.
No matter how bad it gets, you wake up and try to do better.
Stagnancy is not allowed, this is the true definition of Motion.❤️🦅
@OsmondSabby@I_Am_The_ICT I recent started watching the free 2022 mentorship on YouTube and YouTube keeps recommending videos of people talking trash about ICT’s works.
This tweet is exactly what I need since it’s coming from a Nigerian.
There was a time @I_Am_The_ICT concepts made no sense to me.
I felt like I'd never be able to understand his teachings.
Today, I make money consistently trading ICT concepts.
If you stay diligent with studying and practicing, you will achieve success. 💯
