Logan Airport is trying something the United States hasn’t seen before.

Starting June 1, travelers can go through TSA in Framingham and be dropped off at Logan already beyond security.

$9 each way.

One of the hardest things to do is to activate / reactivate a new / dead airport code. The drug of global distribution creates massive efficiencies in existing markets. It also makes the addition of new markets / facilities impossible or very expensive.

• Spirit backed out before the first flight
