A lot of AI security discussion still defaults to hype.
Better framing:
if vuln discovery gets materially faster, the first orgs to feel it are the ones with weak asset visibility, unclear exposure, slow triage, and poor remediation discipline.
This is a readiness problem.
Iโm so damn tired of this timeline. Can someone please throw the switch to put us on a better timeline. Itโs been one thing after another for years now.
Ummm, I opened #claude code and saw I was on 2.1.76. I gave it a couple of minutes to get the updates to get to 2.1.85. I opened 2.1.85 and didn't run a single question or anything. I got a session limit reached message. What gives @trq212?
I've spent my morning so far looking at data and making pivot tables and graphs. While I don't like what I'm seeing, it brings back memories of my data engineering days.

I wrote about the new features and the demonstrated the impact of iterative scans and the cost optimization improvement.

TLDR:
* Added support for iterative index scans
* Added casts for arrays to sparsevec
* Improved cost estimation for better index selection when filtering
* Improved performance of HNSW index scans
* Improved performance of HNSW inserts and on-disk index builds
@rakyll Thereโs a bigger divide I run into more often.
- Engineers who want to go with the first solution they come up with, and change it only when they have to.
- Engineers who want to make sure they covered every edge case before shipping to avoid breaking changes.
A upgrade that happened 2 days after something else started happening does not mean the upgrade is impacting the something else. Especially when the 2 system have zero inter connections
Tools are great but without a plan they are just that tools. Think about the goals first then develop a list of must haves, negotiable item, and nice to haves based on the plan. Think 3-5 years out if you can. There is a cost to changing every year or two beyond the monetary one.
