I was passed these messages from a private Tamil community group. I removed the identity of the H-1B worker because this is not about attacking him.

Instead, look at what happened around him. First, he develops an immigration problem after losing his job. Next, someone in the group asks whether they can “steer some help” through Congressman Suhas Subramanyam’s office.

Another member says he had just met Subramanyam at an event and could arrange a call. Then, within the same conversation: “I reached out to Suhas and emailed him and forwarded to his immigration team.” — “Connecting his family to Suhas in the morning.”

You may have missed it, but the messages say the worker lives in Herndon. Herndon in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District. Subramanyam represents the 10th District.

House Ethics guidance says members generally should not devote official resources to casework for people outside their district and can instead refer them to their own representative or senators.

I don’t think Subramanyam was summoned based on the district he represents.

Remember, this conversation is taking place inside a Tamil community network. So, it’s worth noting that Subramanyam has South Indian family roots, his father grew up in Chennai and he was a congressional co-sponsor of the resolution recognizing Tamil Language and Heritage Month.

Sure, we don’t have proof of preferential treatment or what his office ultimately did. But we did get an unusually candid look at how political access in ethnic networks functions:

Private ethnic community → personal connection → member of Congress → congressional immigration team.

Despite being unable to vote and being out of district, people around him apparently knew exactly who to contact and claimed the personal access to get his case in front of a congressional office.

The question I want answered is simple: why was this case being routed through Suhas Subramanyam and what did his office do with it?

It doesn't make sense to compare IQ scores of people across years, let alone centuries, becauses an IQ score is always normed to the population of its time. IQ is fundamentally a relative metric, not an absolute metric like time.

If you are worshipping ANYONE or ANYTHING other than Jesus Christ, you are worshipping a demon. I believe Jesus fully when he says “I am THE way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father EXCEPT through me.”

And 1 Corinthians 10:20 tells us what those of other religions sacrifice to their gods, “they offer to demons.”

This does not mean that I don’t love and appreciate people who do not follow Jesus. But it does mean I recognize and proclaim that if you are not following Jesus, you are following a false religion.

There is a very uneducated, attention-seeking element of the Groyper Right right now that looks less like conservatism and more like a subversive psyop. They are literally dividing by race on purpose.

Trump spent a decade blowing up the Left’s racial coalition-building model and made historic gains with Black, Hispanic and Indian / Asian voters by bringing people into a common AMERICAN identity and creating policies that made people from all walks of life thrive.

And now a dumb faction on the Right wants to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by importing the exact racial tribalism we spent years mocking the Left for.

America was never supposed to be a collection of racial factions fighting over who gets to claim the country. The expectation was assimilation…different backgrounds, common culture, common allegiance, common American identity.

If your response to the Left dividing America by race is to divide America by race from the Right, congratulations, you didn’t defeat identity politics.
