The General Assembly adopted the ninth review of the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. Terrorism does not respect borders, and no country can confront it alone. The Strategy remains an important framework for Member States to work together against a threat that continues to evolve through new technologies, new financing methods and changing conflict dynamics. Our response needs to evolve with it, while staying grounded in the Charter, the rule of law and the protection of the people and communities terrorism seeks to harm.
