@GeneralAndrews@3llebelle@thatgrltrish I think I’ve seen that one in action. The simulator is so nice for online distance play. I have a black/red vamp deck based on Crimson Vow and Innistrad at the moment that is pretty fun to play. Magic is soooo back in. Lol.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing My interpretations of the constitution are based on continually upheld legal cases that create the foundation of American freedom. It isn’t my blind reading and application of them. So you have issues with them. Not me. I’m heading out, but DM if you wish to continue discussing.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing “They” were never intended to have those rights, yet they have for hundreds of years. It’s to protect us all from being claimed as illegal during the whims of oppositional presidents. It’s less about them and more about being able to be an individual at the core.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Only things I learned in college was how to write a paper on worthless topics at 2 in the morning the day before they were due. It’s a waste and I would encourage many people to avoid wasting money on it.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Mind you, I don’t think that’s perfect, I do think it is better than the former, any individual unilaterally taking charge of legal precedent by superseding constitutional boundaries. We can disagree on where those are, but that doesn’t mean I’m against you if that makes sense.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Well that’s where we find difference. The constitution is either in front of all laws or an additive to when it finds use for whomever is in office. Feeling it should be applied before executive wishes means we have less chaos. If change is needed, we as a society agree to it.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing That’s more a query than argument, but no matter. I don’t have to argue for a different govt, as the founding fathers laid forth a blueprint for a govt that could evolve over time to support its people. Not its political parties, nor industry, nor interests. But the people.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing My argument isn’t moralistic in regards to holier than thou or everyone is guilty. Merely I discredit the notion that they receive more in federal aid than they pay into. Which I don’t believe would change your mind. Just highlighting potential discrepancies in arguments.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Another thing we agree upon. What my concern is, is that the freedom in which we are engaging is beginning to be infringed upon. It happens in micro cuts until it becomes a full amputation of rights. But I also implore you to look more into our foundational era’s intelligence.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing And furthermore, if they are not being paid legitimately, that means people are providing them payments outside of legal structures meaning they are not contributing to larger tax funds such as healthcare and retirement. So is that the illegals fault or the legal who hires them?
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Where do you determine that most work for cash without paying taxes? If they use fake SS numbers to acquire a check, they would be audited and deported by the IRS for such egregious acts. 40 plus years of tough republican presidents in past 60 years. So why wouldn’t IRS act so?
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Of course. Would you not rebel against a law that was against your interests? However. I’m not disregarding the constitution. Which does not ask me to be beholden to neither President nor judicial not executive branch as we both agree on if I’m not mistaken.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing So if the founders were so unfit for the job, why do we laud them or support their greatness. Would you have us tear down Mt Rushmore since they were so unqualified to create a system of govt?
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Not to condescend, but you misunderstand 19th century liberalism if you think it is congruent with current liberal tendencies. It’s closer to small government and individuals rights in regards to tyrannical govt (which was mostly any govt overreach).
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Is this something told to you by a source, or is this something that was legally written into law about how to handle illegal aliens. And still, does not counter the statement that being illegal means you don’t get to claim taxes, but are still taxed. (State, federal, income)
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing I think a splash of 19th century liberalism would do much to rectify current politics. Sure, everyone should be free to live their life without infringing others, but obviously a police officer shouldn’t be drunk on the job. Common sense plus freedom.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Because if they were capable of expecting it, this is the type of conversation meant to bookend it. If they weren’t then we wouldn’t have made it this far as a republic. I feel as though we can agree we would have at best been signers of the constitution and not its author. Tbf.
@todaysfinalthot @Rave_Gahan@StephenKing Do you know for sure they didn’t? And the only reason I ask such a question is, the reality of us versus them. They weren’t perfect, but they lived in a time when wealth meant the acquisition of enlightenment. Do you think they were incapable of expecting our current situation?
